Асинхронные электродвигатели Leroy-Somer серии LS изготавливаются в облегченном алюминиевом корпусе, крепежные фланцы, лапы, подшипниковые щиты – из высокопрочных марок стали, применение данной технологии позволяет снизить массу электродвигателя более чем на 25% в сравнении с массой электродвигателя в стальном или чугунном корпусе.
